NEWS/The Pearl-Qatar Agreed with Blue Salon to Open Global Retail Outlets
The Pearl-Qatar and Blue Salon have signed an agreement in order to open a series of retail outlets of the global leading brands at the Pearl-Qatar Island, in the aim of proceeding with developing the Pearl-Qatar as a world-class shopping destination.
The agreement was signed by acting Chief Executive Officer of UDC eng. Bader El Mir, and the Vice Chairman of Blue Salon Mr. Nabil Abou Issa at the sales and marketing center (Oyster) at the Pearl-Qatar. The General Manager of Leasing Department at UDC, Mr. Ihab Kamel and the CEO of Blue Salon were also present, in addition to directors, media representatives and agents from the leading brands soon to be opened at the Pearl-Qatar.
The Blue Salon will be opening a retail outlets of leading brands such as “Blue Salon Kids”, “Nespresso”, “Ethan Allen”, “Samsung”, “Mimisol”, “Toys 4 Me”, “Pressto”, “Gina”, “Kartell” and “Oasis of Soul”, and this under the terms of the agreement. Besides, the Pearl-Qatar is the first of its kind in the state having two globally known brands operating simultaneously, which are: “Ethan Allen” and “Nespresso”.
“The Pearl-Qatar has succeeded in attracting the world’s leading brands because of the special environment combining entertaining shopping at the waterfront along with sophisticated marinas, in addition to amazing design of shops inspired from Italian, Spanish and Moroccan architecture”, says Eng. Bader El Mir, the acting Chief Executive Officer of UDC. He added: “The Pearl-Qatar will be adding high quality merchandise and exceptional shopping due to the huge number of unique shops and restaurants. Besides, the Pearl-Qatar will offer extraordinary services, both commercial and entertainment, especially that the project is one of the best in the region, which will let the island shine”.
As for Mr. Nabil Abou Issa, he pointed out the following: “The opening of new brands at the Pearl-Qatar is a crucial step toward our strategy that aims at providing the most elegant products in Qatar. This step shows the high demand on our special products and the uniqueness of the Pearl-Qatar”. “The Pearl-Qatar is a distinctive mixture of architectural designs with international standards including interior designs and artistic tads that are well-suited with the elegant retail environment. We are proud to add these global outlets to our international achievements list and are confident of the positive outcome to the community and the Pearl residents”, he added.
The Pearl-Qatar has a refined number of retail shops, sophisticated international restaurants and recreational locations that will make from the Pearl-Qatar an extraordinary destination for luxury and elegance.
The island is exceptional in providing worldwide products in addition to its unique design; they are not simple outlets, restaurants and marinas, it is a complete city providing activities, services with a special sea view. The launching of these leading outlets is a signal of the strong relationship between UDC, the main developer of the Pearl-Qatar and Blue Salon, one of the leading companies in the Middle East.
