NEWS/Majida Al Roumi Back to Egypt In A Huge Upcoming Concert

What’s more brilliant than the visit of the Lebanese diva Majida El Roumi to her beloved country Egypt? As a part of the campaign for promoting tourism in Egypt, Majida El Roumi is back to holding a concert after 13 years. The Lebanese songstress wanted to fulfill the hunger of her Egyptian fans. After many years she did not showed her face so it has been a long wait for the audience. She’s coming back to rock it!

The most anticipated event will be held on the 20th of March in the conference hall at the Alexandria Library. At 8pm, the concert will start.

The Egyptian people were very happy to hear the news of the concert until they knew that ticket prices were ranging from 350 to 2000 Egyptian pounds, which is equal to 50 to 300 US dollars.  Majida herself won't be making any cash from the concert, so fans were outraged at the organizers for scaling the prices so high.

One of the organizers of this event, George Malak, showed up to say that the tickets prices are so expensive because of all other costs associated with hosting this major event. He stated that all these issues will be clarified in a press conference that will be held in Alexandria-Egypt a week before the concert under the patronage of CBC channel, and he will personally fund all the cost of Majida El Roumi’s stay in Egypt.

After forty years in singing, Majida El Roumi always showed us that she is not only a very talented songstress but also a very respectful person who cares about the Arab World issues. This time also, she wanted to be by the Egyptian people’s side to be part of promoting tourism campaign. We are sure that the concert will be a success!
