NEWS/Kids Got Talent in Abu Dhabi

Kids Got Talent contest held in Marina Mall in Abou Dhabi was a big success. The finalist show attracted hundreds of people who went to support talented kids and also take a peek at famous judges of the show. The judging committee included Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram, MBC director Dr. Ali Jaber, and the popular Arab TV actor Khaled Najem and Denise Chamassian, owner of KidsTalent shows.

Contestants aged 6 to 15 performed in the contest that included four categories: singing, musical instrument, dance and other talents such as gymnastics, magic and sports tricks, The National reported. The Best Talent award went to Ibrahim Al Obaidly from Sharjah, the only UAE national participating in the competition. Al Obaidly sang a song praising the late Sheikh Zayed, the UAE and the rulers of the country.

Indian 12 years old Megha Satish, from Sharjah, claimed the top award of Dh10,000 worth of Marina Mall gift vouchers, an iPad Mini, an iPhone and a karaoke system. Megha sang Nancy Ajram’s song, Ya Tab Tab. Her talent was praised by all judges. “You sang it perfectly and I would say better than me,” Nancy told Megha. From the Philippines, Van Wendel Marino won the second rank of Dh7,500 worth of Marina Mall gift vouchers, a mini laptop and a mobile phone. Lebanese girl Sarah Khalifa won Third place and received Dh 5,000 worth of Marina Mall gift vouchers, a TV and a home theatre system. During the event, Nancy Ajram greeted her young fans and sang for them her song, “Ya Banant.”
