NEWS/Diana Haddad is back with "LA FIESTA"

With a very special style, we have always seen Diana Haddad, the Lebanese pop star shining in her songs and albums, since she started singing in 1993 when she was only sixteen-year-old.

From folk songs to pop music, it's time for some cocktail!

Diana Haddad wanted to make something new by singing "La Fiesta" a trilingual song: French, Moroccan and English. It is a party song made by Zad, the French producer, who aims to make music for global stage. The mastering and mixing were made at a French studio in Paris, to make an energizing song that took five months for production. Diana expressed her joy at working with Zad who introduced a new style for her in the music scene. On his part, Zad stated that it gives him great pleasure to have his first project in the Middle East to be with a star like Diana, who enjoys vast popularity.

This song is considered as the first Diana's work after she joined the renowned production company "Rotana."  She signed a five-year contract one month ago. Rotana president, Salem El Hindawi, said that it was an honor for the company to sign on with the brilliant Diana Haddad, who has such rich music. Of course, she is happy now to join Rotana's crew and considers it a step-up in her career.

As well as Diana Haddad is known for her elegant style since the early start of her career, wearing designs and conjuring her own unique style. Many believe she is currently the only Lebanese female artist who consolidates with the conservative Arabic traditions combined with feminine elegance and beauty. In 2003 she was chosen as the "Most Elegant Female Arab Singer" at the Al-Doha Festival in Qatar. She has also attended many fashion shows of Walid Attalah, her stylist at the time. She has also worked with Akl Fakeh the only Lebanese stylist who has won the UAE Golden Key for his designs. When she attended the Fashion show of her stylist and personal designer Akl Fakih in late 2009, she was perhaps the most notable guest there. Quoting the Khaleej Times on Haddad's appearance there: Adding that extra touch of glamour was the presence of Arab singer Diana Haddad in the audience. In 2007 Haddad was awarded the title The Most Stylish Star of 2007 by "Stars Cafe" Magazine (the official source for World Music Award results in The Middle East). She received the highest votes from experts in fashion as per polls by the said magazine.

Married to the Emirati video director Souhel El Abdoul, she love to sing Khaliji music, even after she was known for her brilliant performance in folk Lebanese songs. Diana and her husband were titled as one of the UAE's Hot Power Couples. Throughout twenty years of a flourishing career, she has shot more than 23 clips, directed by her husband for the most of them, which hit 11 albums.
